OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

At Olfentia, product safety is our highest priority. Every product we sell is formulated, tested, and manufactured with the safety of our customers in mind. We are committed to full transparency regarding the ingredients, testing, and regulatory compliance of all products sold on olfentia.com.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

All Olfentia products sold in the United States are formulated in compliance with:

The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), as enforced by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act of 2022 (MoCRA), which introduced new obligations for cosmetic brands selling in the USA, including facility registration, product listing requirements, and serious adverse event reporting.

Our products do not contain any ingredient prohibited or restricted by the FDA for use in cosmetic products sold in the United States.

INGREDIENT SAFETY

We carefully select every ingredient used in our formulations. Our products are free from ingredients that are banned or restricted under applicable U.S. cosmetic regulations.

A full ingredient list (INCI format) is available on each product page and on product packaging. We encourage all customers to review ingredient lists carefully before use, particularly if you have known allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions.

If you have any questions about a specific ingredient, please contact us at olfentia-support@olfentia.com before purchasing.

PRODUCT TESTING

All Olfentia products undergo safety assessment prior to being made available for sale. Our formulations are evaluated to ensure they are safe for use as directed under normal and reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

INTENDED USE & POPULATION

Olfentia products are intended for external use on the skin by adults. Our current range is formulated for women's skincare, with additional products for men planned for future release.

Products are not intended for use by children under the age of 12. Fragrance products and products containing active ingredients are not recommended for use by individuals under the age of 18 without parental guidance and, where appropriate, consultation with a healthcare professional.

SAFE USE GUIDELINES

To use our products safely:

Always read the full label and usage instructions before use.

Perform a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or a history of allergic reactions (apply a small amount to your inner forearm, wait 24 hours, and discontinue use if any reaction occurs).

For external use only. Do not ingest any product.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.

Do not apply to broken, wounded, or severely irritated skin.

Keep all products out of reach of children.

Store products in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Discontinue use immediately if you experience redness, itching, swelling, burning, or any other adverse reaction.

FRAGRANCE SAFETY

Some Olfentia products, including perfumes and scented skincare, contain fragrance ingredients. Fragrances are among the most frequent causes of cosmetic-related skin reactions.

For fragrance products specifically:

Apply to skin only — do not apply to broken or irritated skin.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

Do not ingest.

If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a known fragrance sensitivity, consult a healthcare professional before use.

Fragrance allergens present in our products at or above reportable thresholds are disclosed in the product ingredient list in accordance with applicable regulations.

REPORTING ADVERSE EVENTS

Under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA), Olfentia is required to report serious adverse events associated with the use of our products to the FDA within 15 business days of receiving such information.

A serious adverse event is defined as an adverse event that results in: hospitalization, significant disfigurement, disability or permanent damage, a life-threatening reaction, death, or that requires medical intervention to prevent such outcomes.

If you experience any adverse reaction following use of an Olfentia product:

Stop using the product immediately.

Seek medical attention if necessary.

Contact us at olfentia-support@olfentia.com with a description of the reaction, the product used, and the batch/lot number if available.

You may also report directly to the FDA via the MedWatch Safety Reporting Program at fda.gov/safety/medwatch.

We take all reports seriously. Every report received is reviewed and, where required, escalated to the FDA in accordance with MoCRA timelines.

FACILITY & PRODUCT REGISTRATION

In compliance with MoCRA, Olfentia has registered its cosmetic product manufacturing facility and listed its products with the FDA as required. Registration and listing are renewed on the timelines mandated by applicable law.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We work exclusively with manufacturers who meet our quality and safety standards. Our supply chain is reviewed to ensure consistency of formulation, ingredient sourcing, and manufacturing conditions across all products.

If you receive a product that appears damaged, tampered with, or inconsistent with its description, please contact us immediately at olfentia-support@olfentia.com and do not use the product.
